VFW Post 7523 Golden Anniversary Award 

Wood County VFW Post 7523 received a Golden Anniversary Award during their monthly meeting on April 21, 2021. The award was presented by District 12 Commander Larry D. Levy to Post Commander Benjamin Coughlin and members present at the meeting.  The award recognizes the outstanding contributions to the welfare of our nation and its disabled veterans during 50 years of dedication to the high ideals of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  The Post mustered May 25, 1971.  The award was signed by national VFW Commander-in-Chief Hal Roesch II and Adjutant General Kevin Jones.
